How to choose the right laptop
There are hundreds of models to choose from. Here we help you find the right one based on your needs and budget.
For office work
For email, documents and web browsing you don't need a powerful machine. Prioritize battery life, weight and a good display. 8 GB RAM is enough for most, but 16 GB gives margin if you run many tabs simultaneously.
For creative work
Photo editing, video production and design require more. Here you want at least 16 GB RAM, a dedicated GPU and a color-accurate display. An SSD with at least 512 GB is recommended.
For gaming
Gaming laptops have come a long way. Modern models are thinner and quieter than before. Prioritize the GPU, screen refresh rate (at least 144 Hz) and cooling. Expect higher weight and shorter battery life.
